Staying Informed

So, girls, Randy and I went this morning to Sam's Club and purchased plates, forks, napkins, salad dressing, and parmesan cheese. We will pick up the meat from Fareway on the 15th. Spaghetti is already here and I should receive the sauce this week. I asked Isaac Hinton's mom and dad if they could furnish the bread sticks. Kerry is still working on the drinks. We will wait until last minute to purchase the salad.

Carol, I really need direction on how much salad to purchase and what kind. Do we need just iceberg lettuce or should I get greens or are we doing a mixture? Also, I know we decided to service the spaghetti out of roasters. Are we serving the bread sticks out of roasters as well? How are we going to serve the lettuce? Does anyone have large bowls for serving? Do we need to keep it on ice? Also, I have not been able to buy pumps for the dressing. Does anyone have serving bowls/small ladles? We will need three.

What time will we start cooking spaghetti, sauce, and breadsticks? Who is bringing the large kettles? What time do we need other volunteers to arrive for set-up? How many do we need for tear-down?

Just a few questions, I guess. Please provide input.

Posters - Post Cards

Ashley...
I have been following your blog religiously and freak a little if I haven't heard from you in a few days. Actually not freak, but pray especially hard for you... I haven't been good about commenting on your posts, but please know that I am here for anything that you need... and I will try to think of things and ask if you need them because I know how hard it is to ask and how much easier it is to say yes when offered. So... if you need more posters, post cards, designing/printing of any kind, please let me know. I am trusting God to answer my prayers for this fund raiser and bring much more than we could even think to ask for. Ephesians 3:20 says... Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. I am holding on to this verse. I can't wait to see you and get that hug (whether it's an air hug or not). See you soon!

Greetings, Warriors!

Hello, hello!!

This is Ashley!  I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for volunteering your time, efforts, resources, connections, etc... to help pull off this benefit.  Isaac and I are so thankful that we have people that are willing to sacrifice to help our financial situation over the next several months.  It's kind of hard to say, "um, hey... we need help," (especially when it concerns money) but we do, and we want you to know we appreciate the work you'll be putting in to help us address that issue.

Anyway, this is a measly thanks ahead of time that will have to do until we get there and I can say it in person and give you all hugs (provided my counts are good), but I hope you know that we really mean it.  REALLY.
